Effective 2 August 2026
Sanctions, Wallet Screening and Restriction Policy
AYOV applies a risk-based programme covering Canadian and UN sanctions and, where exposure or policy requires, OFAC and other relevant lists.
Screening
Clients, beneficial owners, counterparties, wallets and material transaction parties may be screened at onboarding, before distribution and periodically thereafter, including ownership and control relationships.
Blockchain analytics
Wallet risk indicators may include sanctioned exposure, stolen funds, ransomware, darknet markets, mixers, fraud, terrorism financing and attempts to evade restrictions. Alerts require documented review; a vendor score alone is not a final legal determination.
Restriction and blacklist controls
The token contracts permit case-referenced address restriction and emergency pause. AYOV may prevent transfers involving a restricted address where authorized by the applicable policy and law. False positives are escalated and documented.
Blocking, rejection and reporting
Depending on applicable law and facts, AYOV may reject, freeze, block, return or hold assets and file required reports. Users must not attempt to circumvent restrictions through alternate wallets or intermediaries.
Review and release
Restriction removal requires documented clearance, appropriate authority and an on-chain case reference. Sanctions lists and programme risk assessments are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
